On July 25, 2014, the Star-Ledger published an Op-Ed by George Haddow, Jane Bullock, and Damon Coppola describing the need to consider climate change risk on long-term community sustainability. This article recommends a four-step process that communities can follow to reduce the likelihood of increases in disaster risk increases expected to occur in the coming decades as a result of climate change.

Community-Based Climate Change Adaptation (CCA)
